💡 What Is Wellness & Preventative Care?
Wellness & Preventative Care is routine care for healthy pets. It includes wellness exams, vaccines, flea & tick prevention, heartworm prevention, microchips, deworming, and nail trims.
Please note: If your pet is sick, injured, or declining, Wellness & Preventative Care may not be the right visit type. Contact your regular veterinarian first; Wichita Falls reviews Veterinary Exam requests when we have capacity and the case fits our clinic scope.
Lubbock Appointments
Lubbock surgery requires a form request. Wellness & Preventative Care is walk-in during the hours below.
Spay & Neuter Surgery
Request form required. Offered Monday-Thursday only. Pain medication included at no extra cost. Vaccinations, microchipping, and nail trims may be available during surgery without a separate Wellness & Preventative Care visit.
Walk-In Wellness & Preventative Care
Vaccines, heartworm testing, heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention, microchips, deworming, and nail trims are available wellness services during walk-in hours. Wellness exams are offered on a limited schedule only — see Wellness Exam Availability below.
General Walk-In Hours
- Monday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM and 4:00 PM-7:00 PM
- Tue-Thu: 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
- Saturday (3rd Saturday of each month): 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Wellness Exam Availability
Wellness exam spots are limited and fill quickly — please arrive early.
- Monday: 4:00 PM-7:00 PM only
- Saturday (3rd Saturday of each month): 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
- Price: $25 head-to-tail healthy-pet check
- No wellness exams on Tue, Wed, or Thu.
