Grants, Pet Fest and More

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It has been a whirlwind year so far at P.E.T.S. Here is a look at just some of what is happening and what is coming soon.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

ASPCA provides more funding for Chain-Off Wichita Falls

Chain-Off Wichita Falls is one of our many programs that changes lives for pets in our community. Chain-Off builds and repairs fences for qualifying pet owners whose dogs live on chains. We were awarded funding for the 3rd time from the awesome people at ASPCA to continue this wonderful program. If you want a weekly dose of smiles, follow ourpage on Facebook: Chainoffwf. We post our builds each week if you want to join in the fun. No experience required just work gloves and a great attitude. Thank you to the ASPCA for giving us the opportunity to grant more freedom in the Falls for chained dogs.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”9034″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_single_image image=”9030″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Bissell Bogo Program Coming Soon

PETS is the proud recipient of a grant from the Bissell Pet Foundation to fund a first of it’s kind program. We will be launching the Bissell Bogo Program May 1st. Pet owners bringing in 2 or more pets will pay for one spay or neuter at full price and get the 2nd free. The best part is you can share this program with your BFF, family member or neighbor. Just bring in more than 1 pet at a time to take advantage of this great deal and prevent unwanted litters in Wichita Falls. Bogo’s are already the best but the Bissell Bogo saves lives. Does it get any better?[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9035″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]

Feral Cat Day

PETS hosted a feral cat day on March 5th. We sterilized and vaccinated 123 cats free of charge in 6 short hours thanks to our skilled vets and awesome team that volunteered their entire Saturday. It was a hard, long day but very worth it.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9036″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]

Sterilization Nation

PETS has been enjoying the mild temperatures and getting some exercise every week playing kickball. It turns out we aren’t half bad and are ranked 2nd so far with a few games left to play. Win or lose- Sterilization Nation always has the most fun. Go Team PETS![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9037″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]

Pet Fest #2

We are gearing up for our 2nd Pet Fest. Last year’s was so big and well received that we made a lot of changes to be even bigger and better. We will be hosting pet owners from parts of 76309 and 76306 this go around and we rented the Bridwell Ag Center thanks to the generosity of Patterson Auto Group. Mailers go out the week of April 25th so keep your eyes peeled if you live in these zip codes. The mailer is your ticket to enter so don’t throw it away. The entire day will be focused on your pet’s health and safety. Take advantage and be part of Pet Fest #2. Click here to see a video from Pet Fest #1 and spread the word to friends and family that live in these 2 zipcodes.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9038″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]
